A huge thank you to all of you that came out to celebrate the unveiling of three new mural pieces by NDA, Mata Ruda, and LNY. Also, a huge thanks to Rubblebucket for being themselves and bringing the energy to the party, Rouix for the last minute opening set and getting the crowd warmed up, The ExitRoom Gallery for letting us party at their place (they’re not even open to the public yet!), and the good folks at Read More >
Our friends in Rubblebucket made this awesome little demo video of a new sampler/drum machine/sequencer app for the iPad and iPhone called Werkbench. It functions sort of like a stripped down Ableton Live, only on your iPad that you can take anywhere. The beauty is in the simplicity.
We can’t wait to mix our next smash hit while sitting in an airport.Read More >

In our first installment of “Listen to this”, we’re featuring Brooklyn based freak-afro-funk-pop band Rubblebucket. The band just released a killer live CD/DVD combo entitled Live In Chicago that presents a pretty good picture of Rubblebucket’s party of a live show. We’re hooking you up with a free mp3 of “Breatherz (Young As Clouds)” from the disc, and you can watch it on video down below.

All good things must come to and end, and SXSW is no exception. We begrudgingly departed Austin yesterday after an incredible week of live music, BBQ and plenty of Fireman’s 4 (ask for it next time you’re in Austin at your favorite local watering hole.)
Before we left Austin, we couldn’t resist making one more poor dietary decision and stopping off at our favorite downtown BBQ joint and inhaling this monstrosity of meat….
Last week, we wrapped up the JanSport [...] Read More >
Our friends at Madison House are throwing their annual SXSW shindig on Saturday 3/17 all afternoon at 1711 S Congress in Austin. There will be some great tunes from Madison House artists including Latryx, Zion I, Thundercat, and one of our favorites, Rubblebucket (you can also catch these guys at our Sonicbids party on Friday.)
There will also be free bloody marys, beer from Sierra Nevada, tacos from Wahoo’s, awesome giveaways from Icelantic Skis and of course, [...] Read More >

A few more bands have been added to The Official Sonicbids SxSW Showcase, presented by JanSport and we’re pumped. NYC based Rubblebucket was announced yesterday and we can’t wait to see these guys live. They’ve built up quite a reputation as a live band and their debut full length, Omega La La, came out last year to much critical acclaim.
