Every year, JanSport looks forward to Memorial Day. Not just for a day off work but because JanSport for the last several years has had the honor of sponsoring and attending, Telluride Mountainfilm, America’s longest running film festival.

We braved some strange Telluride weather but nothing could trump the inspiring film premieres and panels that left us more knowledgeable and more aware of the many issues facing our beautiful planet.

Since 1979, Telluride Mountainfilm is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. Through the years, the festival has always been best described by one unchanging word: inspiring. Far more than any other adjective, that’s how festival audiences describe their experience.

Since 1979, Mountainfilm has been bringing the best in independent films and documentaries to Telluride, Colorado. The festival, held every year over Memorial Day weekend, features a wide range of films, focusing on topics from outdoor adventure, environmental stewardship, and social justice.

Mountainfilm in Mill Valley

The JanSport sponsored Mountainfilm in Telluride is coming to the Bay Area with a special “mini- festival” in beautiful Mill Valley, CA, just over the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County.
