Since 1979, Telluride Mountainfilm is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. Through the years, the festival has always been best described by one unchanging word: inspiring. Far more than any other adjective, that’s how festival audiences describe their experience.

#LiveOutside2015 is officially here.

JanSport has joined Arlin and NOVE, two of the most influential muralists on the São Paulo street art scene.  A duo that is described as both harmonic and tumultuous, these two have collaborated on more than 20 walls since 2008. For Live Outside 2015, the duo collaborated on their largest mural to date in the São Paulo, Brazil neighborhood of Pinheiros.

Live Outside SF w/Painted Palms

We’re throwing a big old party in San Francisco tomorrow to unveil the first of 2014′s Live Outside murals, this one created by SF street art duo Alynn-Mags.

The party will feature a performance from one of our favorite new SF bands, Painted Palms. The duo (comprised of cousins Reese Donohue and Christopher Prudhomme), just released their debut LP, Forever and it’s been in regular rotation here at JanSport HQ. We think you should listen to it too!

We’re kicking 2013 off with a return to SXSW in Austin, TX. Our first Bonfire Sessions of 2013 will be on March 12th in downtown Austin at 401 East Cesar Chavez Street.

The JanSport sponsored Mountainfilm in Telluride is coming to the Bay Area with a special “mini- festival” in beautiful Mill Valley, CA, just over the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County. The three day festival will be hosted at the Throckmorton Theatre from Friday, November 30th through Sunday, December 2nd and will feature 34 documentary films from the annual festival in Telluride.
