Tim Kasher is a pretty prolific guy. No doubt about it. With 12 full length LP’s under his belt in the last 15 years, Kasher is already at hard worker status. Add to that fact that 10 of those 12 LP’s come from Kasher’s bands Cursive and The Good Life, both of which kept heavy touring schedules for the better part of the oughts, and you’ve got a full blown workaholic.
Kasher’s latest release, Adult Film, is his second solo album and offers a slight departure from the orchestrated production of his solo debut, The Game Of Monogamy, with a decidedly more straight ahead rock and roll approach. In common, though, is Kasher’s distinctive and infamous lyrical filter of dry wit and self-depreciation.
